Ever since Led Zeppelin got together for a one-time show in early December, rumors have been rampant that they're getting ready to launch a worldwide tour based on the events' success.
Now a source close to the band tells Daily Express that those rumors are true, and an 18-month world tour is being planned for later in the year.
According to the source, who was at a party after the recent show, the group said about the tour: "It will kick off at next year’s Glastonbury after Robert Plant has finished touring with American country star Alison Krauss.
“Plant and Krauss have a new album out right now and he is committed to that for the next couple of months at least."
Although there has been no official announcement, fans of the band are going to celebrate this news, as they've been begging the group to reunite for a tour since they performed together on December 10.
It seems the main problem has been convincing lead singer Robert Plant to agree to the tour. He's been the one in the group least desiring to take the step. Others in the band: John Paul Jones, Jason Bonham (son of original drummer John Bonham) and Jimmy Page are all enthusiastic about doing a reunion tour.
