I'm not sure there's even the equivalent in the U.S. of a celebrity couple that would be getting married, that would get this type of worldwide attention.

Writing about the various actions and foibles of the rich and famous will continue to be one of the favorite sports of bloggers and journalists, as the regular person loves to escape their everyday lives by getting a glimpse into the interesting, and at times - stupid things people in the public eye do.
