Reports from the coroners office confirm that actor Brad Renfro was found dead in his home in Los Angeles on Tuesday.
Renfro had a troubled history of drug abuse and arrests related to drugs. So far the causes of his death haven't been determined, although investigations are continuing.
He had just wrapped up shooting on the film project "The Informers," which also will star Billy Bob Thornton and Winona Ryder.
Renfro also has had starring roles in "Apt Pupil" and "The Client."
TMZ reported he has stuggled since moving to Los Angeles from Tennessee. "His parents split, and we're told he did not have real guidance from adults as he tried navigating the treacherous movie industry," said TMZ.
Renfro was only 25.
