Elisabeth Hasselbeck, the co-host of "The View," will be returning to the show Monday, January 7.
Hasselbeck, who gave birth to a son, Taylor Thomas, on November 9, has been on maternity leave from the ABC (DIS) talk show since October 23. Her husband Tim Hasselbeck is an NFL quarterback for the Arizona Cardinals. The couple already have a 2-year-old daughter named Grace.
The panel has not just missed her beauty, but her strong views from a conservative way of looking at things. That should help spice things up on the show with the election coverage and passions heating up.
For the first day Hasselbeck is back, she will bring her new son for his first television appearance. The ABC web site added there will be big giveaways and a number of hot topics on her return.
Other co-hosts on the show are Barbara Walters, Whoopi Goldberg, Sherri Shepherd and Joy Behar. Behar said she has missed her "Republican pal."
