TMZ reported that Eminem was rushed to the hosiptal over the holidays due to pneumonia and a serious heart condition.
"Over the holidays, Marshall Mathers, aka Eminem, was under doctor's care at a Detroit-area hospital for complications due to pneumonia," the rapper's publicist, Dennis Dennehy, said Tuesday. "He has since been released and is doing well recovering at home."
Reports are he also now weighs in at over 200 pounds. I'm not sure if that means anything, as I don't know what his height is. Obviously it's a lot more than he weighed in his prime, when he may have weighed 150 lbs. at tops.
Eminem, who is 35, has won an Oscar for his song in the movie "8 Mile" - Lose Yourself. He has also won Grammy's for best rap album for "The Eminem Show," "The Slim Shady LP," and "The Marshall Mathers LP." Marshall Mathers is Eminems' real name.
Since he released his mixtape "The Re-Up," in December 2006, Eminem really hasn't been heard from much.
