Gwyneth Paltrow announced recently that she no longer has the type of professional ambition she used to have before her marriage and children came along.
She said there are no plans at this time to return to her former intense filming schedule:
"I don't have the same ambition that I used to have, and don't work at a furious pace. I have a great life and I see everything differently now," she said.
"I know that shooting film after film doesn't make you happy, and I've never been happier with Chris and the children."
"I will do more films now that Apple and Moses are a little bit older," she also said to Britain's Now Magazine.
The only way Paltrow will work is if the right accomodations are made around her family life.
For her work with Iron Man, they wanted her so badly that they even allowed her two children to be in her every shot, while adapting the dialogue in the major scene where Tony Stark reveals his identity to her character, Virginia "Pepper" Potts, his executive secretary.
It is interesting to see how a family can change a person's perspective on work and life.
