
In what can only be called stunning, Heath Ledger was found dead today in a Manhatten apartment building, assumed to be his home. He was 28.
He starred in "The Patriot," "A Knights Tale," "Brokeback Mountain" and "Monster's Ball."
The last role Ledger played was in "I'm Not There," showing the various sides of Bob Dylan.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Ledger had an appointment for a masseuse to come to the apartment, when the housekeeper went to let him know the masseuse had arrived, she found him dead. That was at 3:26 p.m.
He was scheduled to play the Joker in the upcoming "Batman Begins" sequel "The Dark Knight."
Ledger is survived by his daughter Matilda, which he had with former wife actress Michelle Williams. The two went their separate ways last year.
