While Jennifer Hudson appreciates her Oscar for her part in Dreamgirls, the actress and singer says her childhood dream has been to win a Grammy, and she wont be happy until that becomes a reality.
Hudson said concerning her dream: "I used to watch the Grammys and dream of winning one. I think that will be next on my list."
Confirming her love for music, Hudson added that in 2008 her plans are to refocus on her singing. "I get to sing this year. I love acting and I hope I don't ever have to choose between acting and singing, but singing is what I worked 17 years to do.
"That's what I dreamed of. And I get to do it this year."
She added that it amazing what has happened to her since being part of "American Idol." She said, "Every day, it's like, 'Thank you God.'"
Hudson will next star in "Sex and the City: The Movie," as well as releasing a new album later this year called "TBD."
