The Sci Fi Channel has worked out a deal with CBS Television Distribution for the rights to air "Jericho" over a period of three years.
They will have the rights to the first two seasons as part of the agreement.
Launching on February 11, it will premiere on the channel in a four-episode marthon. The night after, CBS (NYSE:CBS-A) will start to air the seven shows of the second season. CBS will have it in the 10PM ET/PT slot on Febrary 12.
This should make Jericho fans happy, as it had at one time been canceled, but CBS president of entertainment, Nina Tassler, changed her mind after an outpouring of protest on the grassroots level.
