Ringo Starr put down rumors that there is any chance he will get together will Paul McCartney and Dhani, son of late Beatle George Harrison for a reunion tour. Dhani would have played guitar if it had happened.
Starr said, "There is no chance of seeing us getting back together with any of our children, this is no chance of us getting back together. It's very difficult now because two of us have gone."
He's referring to the murder of John Lennon in 1980, as well as George Harrison dying of cancer in 2001.
At the same time, he did give some hope that he and McCartney may work together again in some type of collaboration saying, "As players there is no reason why we can't get back together but don't get excited about the summer (when McCartney is scheduled to play in Liverpool, England) - he is on his own."
With Ringo being 67-years-old, if they're going to do something together, hopefully it'll be soon. It would be fun to see what they would put together. We know Beatles fans would love it, whatever they choose to present themselves as.
