
The president of Sony Pictures Television, Steve Mosko, announced today they signed a multi-year deal with executive producer Harry Friedman, to keep him with the company.
"Harry Friedman is an enthusiastic innovator, a wonderful collaborator and an extremely talented producer," said Mosko. "His passion for television and his contributions to 'Wheel' and 'Jeopardy!' are unparalleled, and we're so happy to be continuing our successful relationship."
Friedman has won seven Emmy's, while getting 28 nominations. He also was recently inducted into the Broadcasting & Cable Hall of Fame, while a year ago he received the Brandon Tartikoff Legacy Award by the National Association of Television Program Executives.
He has been the executive producer of the top two game shows since 1999, leading them to be the No. 1 and No. 2 syndicated game shows, airing on over 200 stations across the U.S.
Friedman started with Wheel of Fortune in 1995 as a producer, and became the Jeopardy! producer in 1997.
