Steven Bochco, who among credits too numerous to mention, executive produced Hill Street Blues, LA Law and NYPD Blue, has had his latest project given the go ahead by TNT: "Raising the Bar.
The show is lawyer-based series dealing with attorneys who went to law school together, but end up opposing each other once they're practicing law within the legal system.
“Raising the Bar is the sort of smart, highly charged legal drama for which Steven Bochco is known and an ideal fit for our line-up,” said Michael Wright, senior vice president in charge of the content creation group for TNT, TBS and TCM, in a statement. “Steven and the exceptional cast and crew he’s assembled have put together an excellent drama, and we’re proud to add another talent-rich, entertaining series to the TNT schedule.”
It will star Gloria Reuben, Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Jane Kaczmarek. TNT has an initial order for 10 episodes of the show.
Raising the Bar is scheduled for release sometime in 2008.
