Weta Digital for their work on "The Water Horse: Legend of the Deep," has been nominated for three awards for their usual quality craftsmanship.

First, the Visual Effects Society has nominated them for two awards for their work on "Waterhorse." VES recognized excellence in over a dozen categories of visual effects in connection to commercials, television, video games and film.

First Category Nomination:

Weta Digital has also been nominated for an Imagina Awards category for "Best Animation" for "The Water Horse: Legend of the Deep" as well.

The Imagina Awards ceremony will be in Monaco at the Grimaldi Forum on Thursday, January 31, 2008, while the 6th Annual VES Awards will be in Hollywood at the Kodak Theatre Grand Ballroom on February 10, 2008.
