Reports are that Weta Workshop has landed another role in a potentially big movie, as they were chosen to design the costumes of the heroes in the Justice League of America film. Some of the featured superheroes will be Wonder Woman, Superman, Batman and The Flash.
Weta Workshop has worked on "The Lord of the Rings," among other projects, and is connected with Peter Jackson.
The film will be produced by Barrie Osborne, based in Wellington, NZ - although he's also an American citizen - who confirmed Weta will be doing the costume design.
"They are doing all the costumes and they're doing a brilliant job," said Osborne. "A lot of people thought it would be too hard, that you can only make those things in Hollywood."
Osborne has been involved in smash hits like Apocalypse Now, Lord of the Rings and The Matrix. He added that there's a possibility Weta Digital may also be included with the Justice League project, but a lot of that depends on their availability, as they're committed to a number of other projects.
Helming the Justice League film will be George Miller.
