A Couple people attending a screening of "The Signal," a horror film, experienced their own horror in the theater, as an unknown assailant attacked them with a knife, sending them both to the hospital.
The attack came at the AMC Theater in Fullerton, California, where police believe it was a man thrown out of the theater earlier in the day.
"We believe he is the same subject that had been removed from the theater earlier that day," Fullerton police Sgt. Jason Schoen said. "We're not positive but there are similarities in the descriptions of the subjects."
Evidently the victims didn't know each other, and were seated in separate sections of the theater.
One victim has a stab wound in the arm, while the other had a stab wound which also punctured their lung, although the victim expected to live.
Oddly enough, at the time the movie had stopped with the incident, there was someone in the movie stabbing a victim as well. Police say they don't think it influenced the attack.
This is a little more reality than the patrons had bargained for.
The attacker is still at large.
