Shell Kepler, who played the role of Amy Vining on "General Hospital" for over 20 years, died Friday.
Along with her role on General Hospital, she had bit parts on a number of television series throughout the years, including CHIPS and Three's Company. Her last work was done on the "Port Charles" series.
There are conflicting reports on her age, as the medical examiner listed it as 49, while IMDb lists her date of birth as October 5, 1961, which would maker her 46.
After retiring from acting, she had devoted her life to working in raising funds for charities. She passed away from complications related to renal failure.
Kepler had been married twice, and is survived by her brother Fred Marital.
I am deeply saddened by Shell Keplers Death. I am stunned that ABC still has not mentioned Her passing. She worked all those Years on GH /abc, YOU WOULD HAVE THOUGHT they be first with the News.
She was a lovebale character that I and many others in my age group grew up with.
May She be at peace in Heaven.
I hope that ABC/GH give Her some tribute in the next few Days, She deserves it.
