The almighty powers at MSNBC took retribution against David Shuster on behalf the Hillary Clinton attack machine, as they suspended him for making comments the Clintons didn't like about their daughter Chelsea.
What Shuster basically said was he thought it sounded weird the way Chelsea Clinton was being "pimped out" by the campaign of her mother. So what?
The Clinton attack machine is now taking that and using it to their advantage at the expense of a human being. It's completely outrageous. They're attempting to create sympathy for Hillary and her poor pilloried daughter. The only problem is this isn't some little girl that needs parental protection, she's 28-years-old - supposedly a woman.
David Shuster: Chelsea Being "Pimped Out?"
When considering the extraordinary attacks upon President Bush by this network, and the name calling involved there goes far beyond the norm of respectable discussion, there can be no excuse for this response by MSNBC to the benign comments of Shuster.
To me this is another episode continues to weaken Hillary Clinton, as she attempts to play the victim role over and over again.
Another side to this, the phrase "pimped out" has nothing to do with what it might have meant to older generations. It's not considered that bad of a term in its present meaning to the younger generations.
The day Chelsea Clinton decided to help her mother on the campaign, she opened herself up to be observed and commented on. Is free speech still part of this country? I guess not if it's in connection to Hillary Clinton.
