
According to Rupert Murdoch, the Super Bowl on February 4, resulted in "the biggest day in our company's history."
"The $250 million yesterday, that was for the television network from when we started up in the morning until we closed up the house in the evening," the ecstatic Murdoch said, concerning the parameters he was talking about.
When you consider the viewership for the show was the highest in Super Bowl history, coming in at 97.5 million in the U.S., it's not hard to believe the numbers he puts out.
Add the inevitable bump in Internet visits and advertising connected to it, and this story is far from over. It'll just add to their strong performance in the midst of a weak economy. The company's going ahead on all cylinders.








I am shocked to see how this man began with a losing rag sheet called New York Post, acquired more media properties and now making more money than others in the same business.
