While this "American Idol" seemed a little bit odd this time, and the performance of some to the contestants, for being the last twelve, was also pretty bad in some cases.
At the end of everything, David Hernandez was bounced out of the group, but it probably could have been any of the bottom three.
The inclusion of Jim Carrey on the show was also kind of strange in the way he presented himself, and as one writer said, made "creepy plugs for his latest movie were awkwardly shoehorned into the show."
As you can see below, the show to me was saved by the return of Katharine McPhee, who look gorgeous and classy, while singing the tune "Something," written by the late Beatle George Harrsion. Accompanying her was pianist David Foster, who is also recording a album with McPhee.
There was also an irrelevant appearance by Sanjaya in the audience, which I think everyone was glad it was where he stayed.

I am absolutely puzzled and shocked by the popularity of this show. What is so interesting about a show where hundreds of people audition to sing and then are booted out disgracefully?
