Hugh Jackman is getting together with Virgin Comics to develop a new comic books series named "Nowhere Man," a science-fiction story set in the future.
Also working with Jackman on the series as a writer will be Marc Guggenheim, who scripted the "Amazing Spider-Man" and "Wolverine" series for Marvel (NYSE: MVL).
Jackman played the role of Wolverine in the big screen version of the "X-Men."
They hope that the story, which will deal with a time when mankind wanted safety and security rather than privacy, will end up being successful enough to bring it to the theaters some day.
The next installment of the film series will be "X-Men Origins: Wolverine," which will also star Jackman, and is scheduled to be released May 1, 2009.
