Usmagazine.com broke the story that singer Carrie Underwood and boyfriend Chace Crawford have broken up.
While the couple have been together since July 2007, they kept the relationship private until November.
It sounds like the Crawford family definitely liked the idea of a Carrie "Crawford" in the family tree, as they said near the end of 2007 that ''Carrie Crawford' would be a great addition to the family!"
Reps from both parties either refused to comment on the rumors or weren't available.
Underwood has been one of the more successful American Idol alumni.
