Miley Cyrus headed up the list of nominees for the "Kids Choice Awards," being nominated in three categories.
Along with her nomination for favorite show with "Hannah Montana," she was also up for favorite actress and favorite singer. Cyrus will perform her single "Girl's Night Out" at the awards show, from her "Hannah Montana 2: Meet Miley Cyrus" album.
Quddus Philippe, a former host of MTV's "Total Request Live," is looking forward to see Cyrus perform, saying, "I'm curious to see Miley Cyrus perform. She's such a phenomenon and I've never seen her live so I'd kind of like to see what all the hype is about."
The host this year for the fun awards show will be Jack Black, who it is expected will get "slimed" during the event. That's the usual practice of the Nickelodeon, and will probably extend beyond Black to others in the show.
According to Nickelodeon, they have had a record 60 million ballots cast this year, smashing last year's total of 40 million, which was the record at the time.
