Rape charges stemming from an alleged incident at the Silver Star Casino in Philadelphia, Mississippi, has resulted in the arrest of heavy metal drummer from the 80s band Poison, Rikki Rockett.
The Silver Star Casino is owned by the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians, and is located about an hour northeast of Jackson, Mississippi.
The complaint filed with the Sheriff's department said, “The subject, Rikki Rockett, forcibly had sex with an adult in one of the hotel rooms.”
After returning to the U.S. on a flight from New Zealand, Rockett was arrested when he got off the plane at Los Angeles International Airport. Soon after he was booked into the LA County Jail.
The case has been turned over to the district attorney's office in order to see if it should be brought to a grand jury.
So far there has been no move to extradite Rockett to Mississippi.
