Yesterday I mentioned that after a short hour of time, Ashley Alexandra Dupré, the call girl who serviced Eliot Spitzer was already an Internet star, and it came true about as quickly as I wrote it.
Over 4 million people checked into her MySpace profile yesterday, and checking it as I write, she is closing in on close to 6 million views.
She's selling an already existing song she had written, which quickly went to the top price of 98 cents. How many she has sold so far isn't known, although a spokesman said her songs have risen as quickly or faster than major artists.
The two songs she wrote were "Move Ya Body" and "Can You Handle Me, Boy?" which both surged in traffic.
Girlie magazine Penthouse already made the first overture toward Dupré as well, saying they would consider offering her a cover shot, which they would make more than "worth her while."
Strange that someone like this will be rewarded for being a prostitute based on the fall of one of her johns. If nothing else, maybe it'll get her out of that lifestyle.
It'll be interesting to see which road she takes in her life, now that fame and fortune have been handed to her on a silver platter by the disgraced Democratic Governor of New York.
The poll is still open to let your view be known after you've taken a look at "Kirsten" and what it cost Spitzer and his family.
