
News that Celine Dion had to cancel her "My Heart Will Go On" concert in China because of a throat infection has been found to be false.
The throat infection was attached by Chinese organizers to the invent because of past reasons she had to had to back out of some dates in Australia, where she actually did have a throat infection.
Chinese organizers in reality didn't obtain permission from Chinese authorities to sponsor the concert, even though they had sold thousands of tickets.
Someone speaking from the Dion camp said there was no illness involved in canceling the concert, and it was Chinese officials who had dropped the ball in this case, not going through the proper process.
The concert was scheduled o April 13 at the Workers Stadium, which seats 64,000 people.
Dion is still expected to appear in the country in order to participate in an event promoting the Olympic Games.
