
Fox, as expected, won the weekly prime-time ratings, although CBS (NYSE:CBS) did make it interesting with its coverage of the NCAA Men's Basketball tournament final which went into overtime, keeping people tuned in and interested.
The final between Kansas and Memphis drew 19.5 million viewers, according to Nielsen.
American Idol led the way again for Fox (NYSE:NWS), as it was the No. 1 and No. 2 show for the week, with the top airing reaching 24.67 million for first place. The Thursday show garnered 20.13 million; good enough for the second-best show of the week.
The top show for CBS was "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," which drew 20.09 million, good enough for the third-best show of the week.
ABC followed next with "Dancing With the Stars," with 19.68 million tuning in.
The average viewership for the week was led by Fox, with 10.27 million and a 6.1 rating, 10 share; CBS followed with 10.25 million, and a 6.6/11; ABC (NYSE:DIS) finished third with 8.1 million average viewers and 5.3/9; while NBC (NYSE:GE) has reverted back to its usual fourth-place finish, ending far behind with 6.6 million average viewers and a 4.3/7.
Univision was tops among Spanish-language networks, averaging 3.6 million viewers and a 1.8/3.
