What's this about cars and Sandra Bullock? It's bad enough that a stalker attempted to kill Bullock's husband Jesse James in April 2007, now while she was in Massachusetts to film a romantic comedy titled "The Proposal," Bullock and her husband were hit in a head-on collision while riding in their car, by a drunken driver.
Lucille P. Gatchell, of Gloucester was arrested at the scene, and was found to have a .20 blood alcohol level, twice the legal limit in Massachusetts. She was charged with driving under the influence and driving outside marked lanes.
Bullock was being transported with her husband Jesse James by their security detail when the accident occurred. Fortunately for the both of them they were only traveling between 15 to 20 mph at the time of the collision. Nobody was hurt in the crash.
Concerning Bullock's response, Police Officer Kevin Mackey said "Mrs. Bullock was very personable and was concerned for (Gatchell's) well-being."
A stalker had attempted to run over Bullock's husband Jesse James in April 2007 when the stalker was found lying on the driveway of the couples' residence. She got in her vehicle and attempted to run down James four times.
I am happy to hear that both she and her hubby were not seriously harmed because she is among the top most talented, interesting, level-headed, clean-cut and beautilicious actresses in the world. I do not know any other actress who can be compared to Sandra. She belongs in a class all by herself. I hope they feel better quickly!
