The wife of actor Bill Murray looks like she isn't going to play nice, as she has filed for divorce after the couple has been separated for about a year, alleging abuse by Murray.
Jennifer Murray said in her divorce papers filed on May 12 that along with abuse, Murray was also had an alcohol and marijuana addiction. The couple were married for almost 11 years and have four children.
There is a prenuptial agreement in place, and per the agreement Murray will pay Jennifer $7 million within "60 days of the final divorce decree."
Murray's wife says in the papers that he hit her in the face and said "she was lucky he didn't kill her" last November. She added that he abandoned the family for long periods of time and was involved with numerous adulterous relationships when traveling.
Attorney for Bill Murray, John McDougall, only said that Bill was "deeply saddened by the breakup of his marriage." He added that the former couple wanted the best for their four children.
