Last night during the TV show Medium, local WNBC 4 TV newscaster Sue Simmons was doing a story promo for the 11 p.m. news, when she suddenly screeched out, "What the F**k are you doing," when she thought they were off the air.
What happened was she was talking about a story concerning rising food prices when the video footage showing cereal boxes and bread changed to a cruise ship. It was at that point she uttered her obscenity.
It wasn't just what she said, but how she said it. She was freaking out over the mistake.

In her apology she said, "I have to acknowledge an unfortunate incident ... I used a word that many people find offensive. It was a mistake I made and I'm truly sorry."
