Evidently the moves by her philandering husband Peter Cook in the name of protecting the couple's two young children, has Christie Brinkley mad, and she's insisting upon a public trial for their divorce proceedings; something Cook has went to the press in hopes of moving Brinkley off that position.
Cook humiliated Brinkley with his affair with then 18-year-old Diana Bianchi in the Hamptons. What Cook is evidently trying to hide is there was a lot more going on with him and other women besides Diana Bianchi.
It seems part of the strategy of Cook is to keep much of this out of the public eye, although the Bianchi story was all over the media when it was made public. He is attempting to overturn a pre-nup with Brinkley, which the revelations of other infidelities wouldn't help.
Even so, pre-nups are legally solid, and as far as I know have never been overturned. So for Cook to attempt this isn't going to help much except to get him in the media stories all over again.
Along with the two children, items at stake are three boats and several homes in the Hamptons the former couple bought as investments. The homes and boats are part of the pre-nup, so Cook has little chance at salvaging them.
He may be trying to cause problems in order for Binkley to give in so he doesn't do battle for the children. That's the only thing that makes any sense in this sordid affair.
For Brinkley, she has taken the high road as usual in all this, and has nothing to lose by going to trial over the ordeal. Again, I think the reason she's doing it is to ensure she has the children when it's all through. The trial is scheduled for July 2.

This situation to not clear up on July, 2nd seems to me that., and still more many!
