Rising star Selena Gomez says rumors that she and Miley Cyrus are fighting behind the scenes is completed untrue.
The rumors swirl around the tattered image of Cyrus, who has made some poor decisions in releasing images of herself over the last year. It's thought that Disney (DIS) is grooming the wholesome Gomez to replace Cyrus as their lead young star.
Gomez has starred with Miley in the Hannah Montana TV show, while also starring in “The Wizards of Waverly Place.”
Selena has also decided to wear a “purity ring” on her left hand which includes the inscription "true love waits?” It's a commitment to wait till you're married before being with someone.
As far as the supposed battle betweent the two starlets, Gomez said recently, “We’re literally like, “it’s fine. It’s all good,’ she’s Miley and I’m Selena.” She added that the thought of being compared to Miley professionally was really a complement.
If Selena can keep her head on her shoulders and follow good advice, she will have a long acting career. Many of the young actors or actresses are influenced by their handlers which tell them to go the way Miley has recently is good to elongate your career.
In reality, it does more to shorten it than any other thing. Gomez is only 15 at this time.
