There have been a few people attempting to salvage what already looks like another failed attempt to bring another Internet hit to television. This time around it's the story of a real call girl who blogged her story on the Internet.
Based on the first couple of shows, it looks like an attempt to make a paid whore look like a well-adjusted, articulate woman. That myth has been shattered long ago, and isn't believable by any stretch of the imagination.
The other problem the show has, which should cause it to last a very short time, is there really isn't any interesting characters in the show, neither an attempt to develop them. You find yourself not caring about what is being said either way.
Again, it looks like a pathetic attempt to make prostitution look glamourous, and the call girl just your typical "girl next door." It doesn't work and never can.
Why this is even put on Televison is beyond me, and why it is being presented in the way it is is also puzzling.
Attempting to build a show based upon a prostitute who is educated and has manners, and has nothing wrong with her. It's just a choice among a myriad of choices the writers want us to believe; simply an alternative lifestyle.
Even with that fiction as part of the show, the worst thing is it's totally boring. Unless someone is trying hard to push this message, and doesn't care about ratings, this show shouldn't have much time on the air. I for one am glad it won't.
Playing the part of prostitute "Belle" for the Showtime series is Billie Piper from Doctor Who.

Try to make a hit everything, but not at all this it turns out!
