Two of the more popular TV dramas premiere tonight on TNT, as "The Closer" will come back at 9:00 pm EST for its fourth season, while Holly Hunter will be back in Saving Grace immediately after to start its second time around.
With Kyra Sedgwick's character Brenda Leigh Johnson depicted as a control freak, this season they're going to explore a number of decisions where she would have to decide in some cases to give up some control; especially in her personal relationship with Fritz.
The creator of the show, James Duff, says he wants to examine more of what he calls an "illusion" of control we all think we have in our lives, through characters this season.

Talking to the Chicago Tribune recently, Sedgwick said about the storyline this season:
"There's lots of drama. Fritz wants her to make real choices about her life, and that's something that's really hard for her. She loves him desperately, so it'll be interesting to see them try to navigate each other's boundaries.
"He's the one that's on the emotional journey. She's not really there" in the way he is. Talking of wedding plans and children will be a big part of Brenda's and Fritz's personal story this time around.
At the same time, there will be a lot of focus this season on interdepartmental squabbles and the team Brenda leads.
Meanwhile, in Sedgwick's real life, she says while she still loves the challenge connected to her character, it's getting more difficult every year to leave her family in New York City while away shooting the series. She added that it's becoming an issue. Is that a hint she's thinking of winding things down in the series? We should find out this season.
