Country Music Television (CMT) launches its own video network

cmt.gifCMT joins the growing number of cable channels migrating to the broadband video platform.

According to mediaweek:

"The new network launches with music at its core, as it will feature 500 exclusive artist performances, 2,200 country music videos and 10,000 music videos from across multiple genres. In addition, recent CMT.com staple Studio 330 Sessions, a series which features raw studio performance shot in CMT’s Nashville studio, will become a centerpiece of the new platform."

One of the strategies being included, like other recent channels, is the behind the scenes type of material that is so popular with DVD fans.
