While there is never a magic pill for any business that will give them the one big thing that will take them over the top, there are some common business skills that go across all industries, that greatly enhance the company's growth and profits.
In the case of merging SMS with TV, there have been a number of failures that we can learn from.
Recently there was an analysis of a number of SMS-TV shows that didn't get any benefit in their ratings as result of the merger. The greatest problem was found in content development itself. Just going interactive doesn't mean that it automatically guarantees success. There are still strengths that must be adhered to that will make the chances of success much higher. Here are a few:
